Creating Jobs

Number of Direct Jobs to be created:

 

Year 1: 

Upon the completion of construction and start of resident occupancy, the Sozo Center will employ 37 individuals on a full time basis.  These employees will include both Administration Staff and Direct Care Employees.  As our community increases in occupancy, this will increase the need for additional full time Direct Care Employees including medical and direct care professionals attending to residents.  At 37 full time employees, the community operation can adequately serve 45 residents.

 

Year 2:

Upon lease-up of the community in reaching 45 residents anticipated at the completion of month 19, the Sozo Center will hire an additional 10 Direct Care employees to ramp service in alignment with resident lease-up employing 47 full-time employees until occupancy reaches 67 residents.  Upon reaching 67 residents, anticipated in month 22, the Sozo Center expects to hire an additional 8 Direct Care employees to reach a total stabilized resident occupancy and corresponding staffing level of 55 full-time workers.

 

Year 3 and beyond: 

Within the first two years, the Project will create 55 full-time positions or the equivalent of 63 FTE jobs and sustain such levels of employment consistent with resident occupancy and care requirements. (55 x 40 hours / week = 2,200 hours / week ÷ 35 hours / week per FTE = 63 FTEs)
